Find out how to obtain birth and death records, marriage certificates.
To obtain the info you'll have write a letter and request a copy of Stillbirth and birth records, death records, marriage records, divorce certificates, death certificates, death indexes, death notices, and other related records. Mail the letter or form, a photocopy of id, and a check or money order for appropriate fees (usually 9 - 15 Dollars). Approximated time: within 2-3 weeks.
The Social Security Death Index (SSDI) is a source of dates someone was born or died. A great tool to help with genealogy research.
The information about a person's death includes:
- The date and place of death,
- The place of residence,
- The names of the mother and father (in some cases),
- The physician who attended the death (in some cases),
- And the mother's maiden name (in some cases).
